Broad City (TV Series, 2014)

I'm thankful for that day when I discovered 'Broad City'.
It's hard to disagree, that nowadays it's not easy to find hilarious and fresh comedy. Usually jokes are super primitive, characters absolutely non-charismatic and it's hard to run away from 'I've-seen-it-all-before' feeling.
But one day, two absolutely normal girls (yes-yes, just like me and you:) decided to start their own show. Ilana and Abbi had started from a tiny web-series on YouTube (click!) and then - boom!: girls got their own sitcom on Comedy Central.
So why you should leave everything and start watching a sitcom about two girls in her mid 20's right now?

First of all: because of the characters. Ilana and Abbi (girls using their own first names in the show) are very VERY outstanding persons. Ilana is curly, full of crazy ideas, for official events she wears a long fake bride. There are no such a words like 'dress-code' in her vocabulary, she can sleep in a toilet in the office, loves to smoke weed and...and I already said enough:)

What about Abbi? Abbi is a cleaner in a fitness center. She would love to be a trainer, but somehow the perspective of job change runs away every time. Abby has a crush on her neighbor and usually behave awkwardly when sees him. Abby likes to draw and she's definitely more rational than Ilana. Oh, and yes: Abbi also likes weed.

Still not intrigued? Ok.
'Broad City' is full of omg moments. From the very first episode, from the very first scene.

Except for Ilana and Abbi, 'Broad City's' recurring cast is also great. The man on a photo is Hannibal - Ilana's lover (or.. isn't he?!). Hannibal works as a dentist and usually makes jokes on kids. He has a kind heart, delicious sense of humor and strange laugh.

And now please meet Matt. Matt is Abbi's roommate. Or better say - he's Abbi's roommate's boyfriend. Matt is disgusting, messy and dirty. He has a sister, likes to touch Abbi's stuff and create chaos around.

During all 10 episodes, you'll get into strange and hilarious adventures!
For example, seeking for a new apartment had never been so funny.

And how about getting to a wedding, using very...hmmm...unusual transport?!:)

Or celebrate birthday 'on the edge'?!:)

'Broad City' found it's placed in my heart. It shows how a normal, from the first look ordinary people, get into ordinary, only for the first look, situations. And somehow Ilana, Abbi, and the whole cast made this show so good, so inspiring (yes, exactly, inspiring!), so funny, that I would recommend it for everyone to watch.
Because there are so many things we can laugh about, dudes!;)
